The Peculiar Kingdom of God & its People ~ Peacemakers

Today as we continue our journey through the Sermon on the Mount we continue our journey through Jesus’ opening words, The Beatitudes.  The blessed attitudes and virtues of the Kingdom of God and its people.  We continue where we left off in verse nine of Matthew five, which is the seventh beatitude.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Learning today what this means.  What does it mean to be a peacemaker and live as a peacemaker?  How it is we become peacemakers?

KNOW: A Peacemaker is one who makes space and makes a place for peace.  Peace in how God understands peace not peace how the world understands it.

ASK & DO: What are some real practical things I can do and steps I can take to be a peacemaker like Jesus?
