Sometimes in life, we just need to remember that God is good. This is a short testimony to how the simple act of remembrance can turn the most sorrowful of hearts to joy.
As much pain, I have been through these last several months. Not having a job. Being unable to do physical labor. Seeing our bank account going from a fully funded emergency fund to us getting deeper in debt to stay afloat.
I have been given the greatest blessings from God. I have had time to truly connect with my family. We have had so much time to love, share, and laugh. Also, I have been able to start my doctorate in a position of strength and commitment. I have plenty of time to read and write. I also have been blessed with the ability to be apart and play a critical role in the rebirth of GameChurch. Not only am I humbled by being appointed as the Vice President, but I get to take care of all the shipping and receiving. It is a joy to pray over every shipment for the furtherment of the Kingdom of God.
I don’t know how much longer I will be in this place, but as I last preached two Sundays ago, God is still indeed so so good in the midst of struggle. Sometimes I just need to remind myself of this.
