Ancient Kings & Their Legacies ~ Rehoboam’s Folly

Today we start a new series on the Ancient Kings of Israel and Judah and what their legacies teach us in living out a life of faith.  To do this we are going to look at the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Today we turn to King Rehoboam and learn about how critically important it is for us to seek wisdom from the right people and receive wisdom properly to live life properly in our service to Jesus.

Think: About who they seek out when seeking advice and wisdom. Are they the right source for good Godly wisdom?

Know: Where our wisdom comes from so shall we act. How much more should we seek good Godly wisdom in this life?

Feel: A need to assess fully where their wisdom and advice come from, and if the sources are good Godly sources.

Do: Surround themselves with good Godly people who will steer them in the right direction in the time of need. People whose advice passes the test.
