Calling ~ How is it Found? – Part 1

As we return to our series on calling we continue to explore where calling can be found.  As we have discussed the fact there is a calling in our lives given to us by God.  There is more to this life than what we see and experience day in and day out, and how this more can be discovered by simply living for Him.  Today we dig in a little bit more on how to find our God-given calling.  In particular by looking at a moment in the life of Paul and how Paul came into knowing His calling from Acts 21:37-22:29.

THINK:  About how God uses every part of our life.  There are no mistakes.  God uses it all for His purpose and will.

KNOW:  We are qualified and equipped by God and not by our own abilities, and how it is God’s calling for our life.  Not our calling.  We do not choose it.  Nor do we bring it forth.  It is given and brought forth by God.

FEEL:  An urge to seek in more detail where it is God is leading them and how God could be using them.  Knowing they are who they are and called by the grace of God.

DO:  An urge to examine their former and present lives and simply ask where it all fits in the greater purposes of God’s Kingdom work.
